Mugla Sitki Kocman University Faculty of Science was founded in 2010 following the closure of the Faculty of Arts and Science by the decision of Council of Ministers published in the official gazette dated 13 November 2010 and numbered 27758. Our faculty comprises the departments of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Physics, and Statistics. Over one thousand students continue their undergraduate education in these departments.
A total of 147 staff members, 127 of which are academic and 20 are administrative, are working in our faculty.
